I only bought this after trying to engineer my own wireless garage door open light. That turned out to be easier said than done! After reading all about the offerings online, I decided to try this one. The description didn't specifically state that it would have a light that indicated the door was open (without an audio alert). It turns out that you can disable the audio alert, and the light can be plugged in, so it'll work forever! Perfect! It was indeed simple to install. Congrats to the inventor/manufacturer, I couldn't have done it better myself! Quality, simplicity, value. Perfect ten. Would that all my purchases were this rewarding.

Wanted a monitor that didn't need an app to use and gave a signal on the receiver that indicated door open. Receiver placed in a highly visible area so you can tell at a glance the state of the door. Basically no setup at all. Great product at a great price.

I purchased 2 of these one for a friend and the other for me. They were easy to install. On the very top garage door ( top right side ) you stick the switch then put the receiver by the TV are some we're you can't miss it blinking and pair it up and that it. So as you garage door start to go up it starts to blink Indicating your garage door is ajar. Ok no jokes i know its a garage door. Guys it does work GREAT for the money. I give it a 5 stars all the way.

I purchased this unit back in 2022 and have been super happy with its detection. A year later it failed to operate. I tried the batteries, repairing, etc., with no luck and so I tossed it out. Recently I received a marketing email for this same product. I read thru it and noticed the founders/owner contract email - so I emailed him. He immediately responded to my surprise, and essentially sent me a new one. Not only did he not ask for any shipping costs etc., and the product came IMPROVED! It now has a sleeve to mount for easy removal for battery changes. I highly recommend this product for all those that have older garage door openers or even new ones, as the light is a great reminder the DOOR is OPEN. Thanks Robert Lawson for a great product and even better CUSTOMER SERVICE!
